Where I am
I am new to the AoD (iPhone 12 Pro Max to iPhone 15 Pro Max. When AoD kicks in, the widgets (Pedometer and weather) don’t show the widget info.

If I then wake the screen, the widget data shows.
Is it working as expected, or do I need to change something?

The weather should be showing but it does hide health related information (pedometer) while the phone is locked.

Actually, yes, you’re right, the weather one is a weird one. Unless it’s the third-party weather app and maybe it’s different from the stock one?

Yep - I am also getting used to the AOD display (iPhone 15 PRO) and the widget for Activity is shown (but sort of "greyed" out) and until I tap on the AOD display, it won't be active. But the other three widgets (while they are brighter) seem to work the same way (Weather, Battery and ProCamera).

Hmm, interesting. Not sure if this is a pro of a con. I mean, after all, it would be one less press/click on the screen to see widget data.

Alas, one could argue that:
1. it would affect battery, somewhat
2. how could the screen update the data, if in a sort of paused mode
3. the time updates with AoD, so..............
