Widgets still ON?

Here's a screenie from the official iOS video.

Notice the "Stocks" and "Weather" "widget".

and the "Stocks" app is MOVING. (Animated widgets?)

Hopefully the new APIs will allow devs to create apps which can be "widgetified" for the notification screen .

As many have said here, the keynote has only scratched the surface.

Quite frankly I dont give a flying frak about Stocks and it's gonna waste space!

Apple have really failed this time, no widgets really! Nail in the coffin I reckon

Yes hopefully they will give us options to choose what notifications/widgets we want.

Yeah I'm worried too that Stock and Weather are permanently there in the pull down.

I at least hope the Weather thing will update live...

Nail in the coffin? Wow, some people I forgot iOS was on it's last legs, I mean, it's not like it has 44% mobile market share or anything is it.
