The XS Max looks less wide than the 8 Plus. Is that true?

Width means more than length to me.

My phone isn’t here but one of my cases did arrive today. It is ever so slightly less wide as my iPhone 8+ case.

I believe it's roughly 1mm less wide than the 8 Plus.

Which I believe would come out to the same thing screen size correct? Seeing as the 8 plus had bezels.

The Xs Max AmoLED screen width is 2.71 inches wide. The 8 Plus LCD screen width is 2.69 inches wide.

There are some videos now on YouTube that compare the size to the 8 plus. It is not as tall nor as wide but there is larger screen size.
