wierd channel strips in environment LS8

In environment window I opened 'new' channel strips from pull-down menu. the channel strips seemed to appear piecemeal; had to keep clicking on screen to "assemble" entire strip. only happened once with one particular project. is this just a screen redraw anomaly or minor bug or is it possibly memory or hard drive problem? extended hardware test revealed no problems. system is octo 2.8 mac pro.

Bug in Logic - I've had it happen a few times. Doesn't get in the way for me though, but it is a little irritating...
