Wierd esim texting bug

I have Verizon on eSIM 1 - iMessage
I have T-Mobile on eSIM 2 - SMS

I can’t initiate a text from eSIM 2 to anyone with an iPhone.

I can type it but when I hit the send button it does nothing.

Phone for calls work fine but the texting. Doesn’t.

Any ideas.
