wierd power button problem

Hey, i started having this extremely wierd problem where i would see the "are you sure you want to shut down your computer" dialog randomly, i would hit cancel and it would keep popping up 2 or 3 more times then it would shut the computer off (a hard shutdown it doesnt log me out normally). I have no idea what the problem is, or if its related to the actual power button. Any ideas?
