Wierd UPS status

So I live in PHX and my iPhone made it to PHX last night around 5, and around 8 it says Depature scan, in transit on time, where is it going ? hahah, it doesnt say out for delievery.... hmmm

Probably to the local sort facility.
 
The departure is probably from the airport, going to the local UPS/FedEx delivery center where it will be loaded on a truck.
