Wife's case causes wifi to completely drop

Hi guys, I dont have a pic of the case now, but its a plastic, thin, snap on case which covers the back and sides and has an opening for te logo...however whenever she puts her case in the wife drops from 3 to 1 bars right away... the only thing is that the case does have bling on the back in the form of very, very small silver flakes almost. That is the only thing I can think of which would cause that problem..thoughts?

The case could have metal in it,if so that could be what's causing wifi to drop.Its connecting the top and bottom antennas causing it to drop.I put a real carbon fiber back on my 5 and the same thing happened. So I can't use it. Carbon will conduct too.
