I read somewhere that they're Wi-fi only; I think it was 9to5Mac.

All reports have said they are WiFi only.

I called my local Walmart after hearing that 'models will vary from store to store' and they said that only the 16GB Wifi only and the 64GB Wifi/4G models will be available. I want a 32 GB Wifi version. Too big an investment to buy too little or too much.
