Been observing some weird stuff with WIFI. My device seems to be disconnecting at times and when I go to settings, it then gets connected. Wifi calling is slightly messed up as well. It worked so flawlessly on iOS 15.

Another thing is I switch off my device at night and when I boot it up in the morning, first thing I do is swipe up for control center to enable either wifi or disable flight mode or to control brightness, when I do that, device freezes, I have to wait for 3-4 seconds and I have been observing this since updating to ios 16.

Any one else facing these?

I would also like to share that I am experiencing improvement in battery backup as compared to last updates.

Try:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security (or Privacy) > Location Services.
  2. Turn on Location Services (if not already ON)
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list, then tap System Services.
  4. Turn OFF Networking & Wireless (or Wi-Fi Networking).
From here on Tthe Wifi connection should be stable.
