Hi guys,

I work in a company that provides us with Public WIFI.

It's a open network that uses those web based authentication systems (just like when you connect to Starbucks WIFI and you need to click a button to agree with the terms).

The problem is I need to go over the process every day I get to work and sometimes more than once a day.

Is there any tweak that, just like when I get home my iPhone connects to my wireless, will connect automatically to this public wifi and authenticate ?

I tried setting the normal WIFI options Auto-Login and Auto-Join both to ON but next day the Auto-Join appears not enabled again.

It's a bit annoying because If i get to work connect it, then put phone in sleep mode, 1 hour later unlock it, need to go thru the same process again...

Please don't reply just for the sake of it if you have nothing to add...

I know you want to keep your number of posts high but you are not helping :)

The only way to keep this active during the day whilst connected to the router would be to keep sending data to it but as soon as its been inactive for a hour or whatever the time out is you will need to log in again.

Keyboard drops down in Wifi auto-login mode

Hello friends, This is strange issue I am facing with ipad3 with ios8.1.
When the wifi is in auto-login mode and I try to connect to open wifi. It connects and throws a redirection page which my service provider is providing for authentication, When I try to type in the keyboard disappears. when I retouch the text area, the keyboard appears and disappears after short while every time.
However, when I disable auto-login and then connect to safari, the keyboard does not disappear. Can anyone have some idea why this happens. I am clueless.
