Wifi Battery Question

I was wondering if you guys could do some tests for me. The wifi on Apple says up to 10 hours, yet while browsing some websites (no videos), my battery drains 1% every 3-4 min. That's equivalent to 5-6 hours of wifi.

Can you post up approximately how many minutes before the battery drains 1% on wifi surfing simple sites like forums? (multiple tests is preferred for more accuracy)

You are incorrectly assuming the battery drain is linear.
