I have an iPad air and am running ios9 beta on both my iPhone 6 plus on T-Mobile as well as my iPad air. Just recently, I have encountered a problem where the iPad will not let me upgrade to wifi calling and will only let me take calls when the phone is nearby. I was wondering why this is happening. It says that the maximum number of devices has already been registered, but I only have my MacBook air registered and turning wifi calling off for that and disabling it from my phone makes no difference.

On a side note, my iPad also keeps telling me there is a software update available but I have not been able to update for a month now as the software update section always states that the iPad is up to date.
