I thought I would reach out here and see if anyone might have figured out how to enable wifi calling on macs that do not support the feature. I currently have an early 2011 macbook pro with upgraded BTLE hardware and i have used continuity activation tool to enable handoff, airdrop, instant hotspot, etc but this still does not enable wifi calling.

I have a supported carrier (t-mobile) and I assume that there is simply a file out there that is hard-coded to only allow this on newer machines but i have no idea what area of the OS is responsible for this. I posted this in the CAT issues on github:

https://github.com/dokterdok/Continuity-Activation-Tool/issues/280

anyone have any ideas how we might be able to get this working? The feature is now available on t-mobile, att, and sprint.
