Wifi calling question

Hi,

Wifi calling comes to the UK with EE "soon".

Can anyone from the US confirm that when travelling to another country and on wifi connecting back to your home country whether or not phone calls appear as "roaming" or not. That is, if I pay £5/month to make lots of calls to the US while I am in the UK but I am in another country (not the US) and on WiFi - would a call to the US be taken from the bundle (as if I'm in the UK) or charged as a roaming call (£1.50/minute per call!!!!).

Right now, only one US carrier, T-Mobile, offers wifi calling. Their charges shouldn't be taken as standard for what other carriers are going to do with this feature, as carriers will be able to implement their own rules.

But here's how T-Mobile handles it:

Calls
All incoming calls received over Wi-Fi Calling are $0.
Wi-Fi calls placed to the U.S. from anywhere are $0.
Wi-Fi calls placed to countries other than the U.S. are subject to Simple Global or International Long Distance Calling rates.
