Following on from my question earlier: wifi printer & imac can't see each other, do I need a router (Airport extreme or other)?
1) Apple support says I DO NOT need a router, the printer & imac should work together via built in airport wireless.
2) The mac seller in the shop says the same! it should work.
3) I had a powerbook & a wifi epson printer link up fine with no router while working in France, so it can be done.
4) Canon support says I DO need a router!
5) Other shop outlets say I DO need a router!
If there is anyone out there that has managed to link up the latest imac and a canon pixma mp620 then could you please let me know, or even how you did it,
thanking you very much in advance
