okay first off ill just state ive looked at the airport cards and they dont have the anteena bit stickking out of them so i dont think i can use them for what i want.
what i want is to build a canteena for my macbook so i can get to the public wifi spot 0.1miles away from my house the issue is i dont know which wifi cards surport macs they never seem to state.
has anyone here for a working cantena on there mac who cud help, i know how to build one ive read and watched many videos so i think i understand what i need to do ive found all the parts i just dont wanna get a wifi card which isnt mac compaitable
ideally i would like a usb wifi adapter with the anteena sticking out the side like the one linked here:
