Anyone know if this is the way it works, if so, it's pretty cool:

I think if you have your Mac signed into the same Apple address as your iPhone then your iPhone will connect automatically to the WiFi that your Mac signed into without having to put the password in.

Today I swapped out my modem and created a whole different SSID and password. Different modem and brand entirely. I signed into the WiFi on the Mac and had to put the password in. When I looked at my phone it was already signed into the WiFi. I had never signed into the new one on that. Only had done that with the Mac.
