WiFi connection with MacBook Pro

I have my MacBook Pro 15 set up for internet sharing. My iPhone recognizes the Mac as a network and shows as being connected to the WiFi network. BUT, any attempt to connect to the internet just gets the spinning wheel ad infinitum. Any ideas?
