wifi disconnects by itself!!

Hello, i have a problem with my wi-fi. I usually turn on my wi-fi and listen to internet radio, but sometimes wifi disconnects by itself and switches to edge, and the radio sucks all all my balance off my phone through my edge. I installed sbsettings and turned off my edge but still same problem. Help

I tried disabling edge with sbsettings but the logo of edge still appears after wifi disconnects by itself and drains my balance. Maybe bossprefs will sucessfully disable edge. Can anyone tell me how to install bossprefs?

You can download it from Cydia. The repository should already be included.

I installed bossprefs but even that cannot turn off edge. Is there any way to turn off edge completely? I have an iphone 3G running on 3.1.2. pls help
