Hi guys, long time lurker, first time poster.
I have a 2007 Macbook Core 2 Duo I'm hoping to squeeze a few months more life out of while I save up for a sweet new air!
Only trouble is, the antenna for my airport card has broken. I can connect to my router when I'm sitting right next to it but when I'm more than six or seven feet away (or even if there's a wall) I can't connect. While I'm not averse to taking the macbook apart I've looked on iFixit and replacing the antenna looks like a complete nightmare!
I'm looking for a usb wifi dongle sold in the UK that's snow leopard compatible. Have googled endlessly but only found things that are 10.4 or 10.5 compatible.
I know there's the Bear Extender but it's at least £50-60 over here in the UK while most wifi dongles are sub £10.
All help greatly appreciated!
