I've heard that the first generation iPhones used wi/fi in addition to triangulation in order to locate you. But when I use my first generation iPhone in my house, it always says I'm in a field 100 yards behind my house. I also have a 3G iPhone, so I would think that it would know the correct position of our wi/fi network. Is there some way to add your wireless network manually to whatever database determines the location of wi/fi networks?
