Hi, new here
i have had a look through the forums but have only found a similar problem to what i have.
i had my iPad jailbroken for ages but i recently went on holiday where they give you free wifi for 15 minutes every 24 hours, as this is not very long i had an idea where i thought i could change my MAC address and their wifi would think it was a different device, i looked on the internet and found a way of doing this using the terminal app from cydia, however when my ipad rebooted, it rebooted in recovery mode and as i did not have a pc with me i had to wait untill i got home to sort it out, i plugged it into my itunes and it updated it to 6.1.3, i thought this would fix the problem but when it booted up the wifi was greyed out and my MAC address was missing, now i cannot connect to the internet (even when using tether via bluetooth), i cannot re-jailbreak my ipad to change my MAC address back to the original one as there is no jailbreak available, i found a way online to change the MAC address using iRecovery but i cannot get it to find my iPad so i am now fresh out of ideas.
I know this i meerly a software issue and not a hardware one, i just don't know how to fix it.
Please, Please, Please can someone help me with this as my iPad is virtually useless with no internet connection
