So do you think jailbreak have somthing to do with the wifi problems that makes the wifi greyed out?

I'm asking because my previous Iphone 4S got the wifi greyed out, and it was jailbroken. So I got it replaced, jailbroke my new device and two weeks later the wifi was greyed out again.

I'm now looking to buy an Iphone 5 and am therefor curious to know if jailbreak has something to do with the wifi problems I've been having?

In the store they said it hapens all the time and they weren't shocked to hear that it happened for me twice. So I don't know if the 4S just tend to get these kind of wifi problems or if it's because of the jailbreak.

IF it is jailbreak related, I must say that's the first time I hear/read anything like that. I don't believe it is related. Have never seen anything on twitter or any other forum about that.

That were my thoughts on it too. I never encountered any problems with my jailbroken iphone 3gs. Just wanted to be sure before I did a jailbreak on my iphone 5..

I have heard more stories about greyed out wifi on the iPhone 4S than any other iPhone so I think it's a case of faulty hardware. However, a long time ago when I jailbroke an iPhone 3G I ended up with greyed out wifi so I wouldn't rule out jailbreaking as another cause.

It seems the iphone 4 is is just more susceptible to the greyed out wifi. However I'm not so glad to hear you ended up with greyed out wifi after jailbreaking your 3gs too. Maybe it's best to stay away from jb when I get the iphone 5. =/

If you get that on your i5, just remove the JB. ;)
