Will OS 7 allow you to turn on the wifi hot spot like pdanet? The cell carrier charges me $40 to turn it on and only allows so much data (Sprint).

You can always turn it on when you really need it, and then turn it off right afterward. If you only need it occasionally, the cost would be even cheaper. The $40.00 is per month, if I am not mistaken.
