I have previously posted about my iPhone and its numerous problems, and here's another to add to the list.

I definitely have wifi where I am, and I mean usually you can at least select the wifi option to search for some. But the option is completely blanked out.

This, combined with random shut downs, lack of restoring when it is shut down, and lack of charging leads me to believe that this is more than a software issue.

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

You can try and restore the device (as a new one in iTunes) using DFU mode to see if it is software-related. However, it's more likely to be related to hardware.

Yeah I already tried a restore when I went to a genius bar, but it didn't help. It looks like a new iPhone awaits
