Hi all

just wondering if anyone can help me, well my partner.

Just upgraded from iPhone XS to iPhone 12 Pro, never had this issue with the XS only since using the 12.

Basically whenever he leaves the room our WiFi router is in his iPhone 12 Pro keeps asking for the WiFi password but when he goes into his settings it just reconnects.

I have tried
-resetting network settings
-hard resetting the phone
-turned off WiFi and turned back on
-renewing the lease
-forgetting the network and reconnecting to it

Issue is still persisting... any ideas?

Did you try unplugging the router, wait 20 seconds and then plug it back in? It may need to be rebooted

Alternatively, go to Settings / General / Reset / Tap reset network settings.
OP stated they tried that. OP, you need to test on other Wifi networks. See if you can reproduce it on other networks away from your home. If you can, you have a phone issue. If not, it’s likely an issue with your home router.
