WiFi Issues - Connection keeps dropping

I am having some severe problems with my WiFi on my Early 2015 Retina MacBook Pro. I will be connected to my home internet and it will stay connected for a little while and then it will randomly stop - yet sending iMessages will still work and I still have a workable connection on my iPhone and iPad. If I turn WiFi off and back on the internet will work again.

Any idea what could be causing such issues?

If you're on Yosemite and it sounds like you may be. Then that's the cause. Yosemite has had wifi issues from they get go.
