Wifi issues maybe

Hia ll,

I ahve noticed that at home the wifi bars are only 3 whereas my old 4s used to have full bars. but the connection seems alright.

At work with th e4s it would automaticlaly join the network. but now with the IP5 I see that today I had to toggel the wifi- on/off and then it connected, it was on lTE otherwise and the trying to connect circle nest to the network was there in setting- wifi.

IS this an issue or am I reading too much in the forum.

hwo to test thatwifi conencting is not a hardware / software issue

I had the same issue. My phone would only show 1 bar on the wifi connection while my iPad would show a full signal. I restarted the phone (holding the lock and home button until it restarted) and it fixed it. The connection speed seems to be fine now as well.

Im sure someone could be along to post lots of figures and facts.

My 4s used to fluctuate from 2 to 3 to 4 bars but never affected my connection in regards to using the phone on the internet.

My iphone 5 seems to remain on full bars.
