WiFi Issues- Will Airport card fix?

Hi,

My airport performance is all over the place. It didn't work at all for a few months so I opened it up and disconnected and reconnected the antennae. This helped a bit, but it still randomly drops and the range isn't great.

Will a new airport card definitely fix this?

No, not definitely. It could also be the antenna. It's more likely for the card to be bad, but there's nothing definite about which it is until you try.

I'm gonna buy a replacement airport card to see if it fixes the problem. if its the antennae. What do you buy? Is it just the three cables that connect to the airport card?

What, did you buy the card, and it didn't fix it? What's left is the antenna. What that consists of depends on the model of your machine.
