iPod touch wifi issues with a certain app?

I just redid my network to allow n/b/g from an exclusive N. My Touch was working fine on it it - i was watching the Airport Utility to see how long it takes for it to "drop off" when it is turned off.

I then launched Splash Shopper to TRY to sync with my laptop.

Wifi went away, and i can't get it to connect at all now. I tried in the other room with the airport that extends my net, i've manually typed in the info for the network to no avail, i've turned the Touch on and off - including the hold the power button down for a few seconds to turn it all the way off.

Nothing.

So did SS cause this or did the Touch just freak? (i also had problems staying connected to wifi when i had borrowed my Dad's a few weeks ago - and was running splash on it also....)

I followed the instructions in the last post in this thread:

(reset network settings to factory settings) And it fixed it.

I haven't launched Splash Shopper yet again though......

Still couldn't connect to SS desktop - turns out to be a firewall issue, turn it off.... great, anyone know what port to open? i'm not leaving the FW off for shopping - i'll keep using the Treo and handyshopper at this point.
