Hey guys,

I've been having some wifi issue lately where my internet just stops loading (doesn't happen on other devices). I stay connected and safari doesn't give me the message "server not found", it just keeps trying to connect. This is fixed every time by turning wifi off and on again, but it's really annoying. Does anyone know whether this could be a software or a hardware issue, (personally I think it's a software issue, but who knows) and how I could maybe fix this.

I have done PRAM and SMC resets but those didn't help.
It happens on my Macbook Pro Mid 2012 running OSX 10.9, although I think it already did this when I was still on 10.8.

This seems to be a common issue

I have the same, but it does that after waking up from sleep. Wifi icon stays black and shows a connection. Nothing works untin I turn off / on wifi though.

I switched from 5Ghz network to 2.4Ghz today. Haven't seen the same thing but it's not deterministic anyway.

Well mine seem to do this randomly. Not necessarily after waking the laptop.
