My parents have a 2012 Mac mini, under Yosemite I'd get random wifi blackouts where I could just not connect to my dd-wrt router. I tried the quick fixes and they worked at first, but evetually none of them worked. I ended up installing a Yosemite update and I was good for a few months.

Yesterday the wifi died on them again, I tried the quick fixes and none of them worked. So I hoped installing El Capitan would fix it like last time but no luck. Wifi will not connect.

Because El Capitan is so new I don't know where to even start fixing this.
