Has anyone experienced this....I finally noticed it happens conincentally.

Is there such a think as potentially WiFi Jammers broadcasting that disrupts Apple CarPlay on the car

I used to think it was some blackhole effect, which it is. There is a stretch of road on the highway the everytime I pass, CarPlay literally stops working and *disconnects* from the car, until I pass by this stretch of the road by 1/2-3/4 mile I suppose....and then it reconnects back on the car. It happens almost every time.

This happens to me on a stretch of highway passing an electric substation. My carplay always disconnects at the exact same spot. Also happens when I am on another highway that's passing by the end of an airport runway.

OK. So it's just not me......the infotainment on my car is a bit picky.....more often, once I pass this area....I need to -reboot- my infotainment to get the phone to connect back

Different but same, I used to get a lot of interference from certain (4) cell towers while working out with my earbuds. The past/old wireless bud models (Anker, Sennheiser, others I can't recall) would flake out when going past them during cardio. Using some Jabra Elite 3s for a few years now with no issue except for one of the said towers: not as bad as once was but do get short drop outs.

So my take, the car/earbuds/etc can be sensitive to interference, not so much (or at all) the iPhone.

My CarPlay connection is wired so never see any issues with that.

Makes sense. In the case of airports, lots of things broadcasting from there. Substation, maybe microwave communication? One of the former problem spots I mentioned above also has some microwave dishes to control/monitor things on site (a city water storage tank facility) and could have been the issue for me vs cell towers there.
