Hi, I have a MBP and am looking for software that searches for wifi on a macbook. Just like ewifi on the iphone and ipod touch. It doesnt boost the signal or anything it just finds a connection that airport doesnt see. Not like local hotspots locator though. Also im not stealing wifi so calm down. I pay my internet bill every month, but at school sometimes when I am far away on campus I cant find wifi with my mac. With ewifi sometimes I am able to connect to things the built in locator cant find. Ive heard of Jiwire but am hoping for something better. Thanks

KisMac (Kismet for Mac) will find you wifi hotspots. I can't remember if it then connects you to them or not but I would assume so.

It's a free program, have a google around...
