WiFi loss After ASUS Laptop Sleeps

I'm asking here in the hope someone's seen this problem before.

When my friend's ASUS laptop sleeps he loses his WiFi for his Pro and printer but not his ipad. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I've asked around and no one seems to understand it. The closest I've come to seeing an answer is someone who seemed to have a similar problem and fixed it by changing or fixing his router. Mind you that this is a recent problem, that all my friend's devices worked before.
