Hi Guys,

I bought a Dell IPS monitor yesterday and have been using my 2009 13" MBP in clamshell mode.

However, I noticed that the internet is extremely slow. I read that this is something to do with a design flaw. If I open the lid about an inch, the speeds comes back to normal.

I am looking at upgrading to a new 13" MBP sometime this week, and also buying a BookArc stand - However, this would mean the lid would need to be fully closed for the MBP to be docked, therefore making my wifi extremely slow again?

Is this something that the new MBP wouldn't suffer with?

Many Thanks.
