WiFi missing from OS Utilities.

Hi guys,

My 2014 MacBook Pro has recently started to freeze on startup. I have tried to launch in safe mode but this still the case.

I intend to start from scratch and reinstall HS. When accessing macOS utilities in order to do so it asks me to connect to WiFi. The issue is there is no option to do so, no WiFi symbol in the task bar, it's missing etc.

I have searched the various forums and haven't seen anyone else encounter this issue.
If anyone could shed any light it would be much appreciated.
