Wifi network problems after printing

help guys

I have a MBP 2008 vintage connected to the internet on wifi, via a time capsule that has a canon ip4700 to it


the problem surfing the net it works fine good speed ( I have a 50mb cable ) if I then print something over the network wifi the internet is effectively locked up. the only solution is to reboot the MBP ( nothing else ) then the internet speed is back to normal
