I have a MPB late 2011 model
for last few days, I notice that the WiFi does not connect after the mac wakes up from sleep or inactivity

Only way i have now is to reboot. Any idea if this could be fixed?

thanks

My wife and I have been experiencing this problem over the past month or so, on her 2013 Air and my late 2013 MBP. Not consistently, sometimes it connects, but more often than not we get the exclamation point in the network icon. Our machines SEE the networks, just fail to connect. Occasionally, if we wait long enough it will still connect, but we find ourselves rebooting to get back on wifi.

Were you able to find a fix?

I have seen this also, seems to happen when my Macbook sleeps while on one wifi network, and awakens on another.

You don't need to reboot, what I do is turn off wifi, then turn it back on again. Once turned back on, the connection happens almost immediately.

Ditto

No fix that I've found, but toggling AirPort off and back on always does the trick.

Still facing this problem :-( Tried all possible fixes but looks like this can only be fixed by Apple
