Since the update my wifi has not been working on my schools wifi. My wifi does work on my friends network that is off campus. Is there anything I can do to fix this.
Thanks

Yes the first you join the network you would have to input your email address and password. Since the update I cannot even get to the step of inputing my email since I cannot even connect to the network at all.

They also may be using MAC address authorization. Your new MAC address may not be in the router MAC authorization list.

I rather not talk to the IT department since they probably have no clue. I never had a problem connecting to the wifi after the update to ios 5.

why would the device MAC address change? Aren't the MAC addresses hardwired into the firmware?

You know, reading the thread again, I don't even know why I wrote it. For some reason I was thinking that the phone changed. Thanks for catching that foe me.
