Does it really take up that much power leavin wifi on all the time when your not near a hot spot

Maybe it wastes 5-10% per day, but why not just use 3G?

Leaving wifi on all the time disconnects you from voip apps because the connection keeps dropping.

Sometimes I forget to turn it off. I was wondering how much it would actually affect the battery life

I keep wifi and 3G enabled all the time. Normal day for me is the phone at about 50%-65% with normal usage. If I watch videos during the day, I'll still have about 40% when I'm done for the day.

So leaving wifi on shouldn't be any problem.
