I'd really love to have LTE technology on my iPad... but I know that it will likely be on the new iPhone in the fall... Is there really any reason that I'm missing to justify LTE on BOTH devices?

separate data? Gps? Having 4g lte on your i device for 6-7 months before the new iphone?

what you'd be missing out on is the convenience of not having to tether between devices and using your ipad worldwide. other than that, no, you're not missing out on much.

If you really need GPS you need 3G or LTE because w/o also no GPS.
I ordered wifi only as my GPS needs are covered with iPhone.

i doubt i'll be using my ipad that much outside of wifi areas. if i do, i'll just pair it with my iphone anyway. so wifi for me.

not to sound like a total noob but how do you pair the two together? I'm on the fence as well with which version to get I'm leaning toward wi-fi so I don't have to change my cellular plan or even pay more.

(i've only owned one apple handheld at one time so never paired anything before :p )
