Wifi phone for skype.... touch? old iPhone?

Hey,

Have a new apartment and no landline, only wifi. what is the best solution for a wifi skype phone?

I understand there are dedicated units.... but perhaps an old iPhone or touch would work?

-which touch has a microphone and earpiece? which touch can use the mic on the headphones? a Bluetooth headset? I jailbreak....

-which old iPhones can run skype successfully (quickly)?

-are dedicated skype phones worth it?
