WiFi Problem

On my Buffalo WHR-G125 using a WPA password, my computer can connect and browser the internet fine. When I use my iPhone on 1.1.1 it connects to the router and gets an IP address, but whenever I use safari to go to any web page it tells me it is a secure site and asks for a username and password. When I point it towards an IP address such as Google's (72.14.207.99) it just spins its wheels.
