Hi,

I have a late 2008 Black Macbook, 2.4 Core 2 Duo, 2gb ram and 250gb.

Recently I updated from Leopard to Lion and in my apartment, my wifi is horrible, in my bedroom (which is 15ft from the router, with 1 wall in between), the connection works rarely and usually not at all. If I move it in the direction closer to the router it will probably load. It only works perfectly if I sit right next to the router. Yet my roommates computer and my iphone work perfectly fine on this router from anywhere in the library.

At my parents house it works fine and it works fine in my school library, but it has a problem with the router in my apartment, where I need the internet the most! It worked fine in my apartment before I updated to Lion when I was running 10.5.8.

I am thinking about reinstalling lion, anyone have any ideas?

thanks
John

Maybe a clean install helps. I ended up upgrading to Snow Leopard.
