I have a Macbook and a iPod touch. About 2 weeks ago I had this problem with my iPod touch, now I have the same problem with my Macbook. When I connect to my WiFi at home, the bars would keep going up and down every 10-15 seconds. When I go into Network Preferences, it says that it automatically assigned me with a IP address and may or may not be able to connect to the internet. How I found a way to fix this was by turning on my iPod touch and waiting for it to connect to my WiFi network. After it connects, my Macbook's internet would begin to work...if I turn off my iPod touch, about 10 minutes later, my WiFi on my Macbook would no longer work. So I have to keep my iPod touch on in order for my Macbook's internet to work.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
