I saw there were threads about the new pros... but does anyone have problems with the late 2008 finding a WiFi signal? I watched it for 5 mins and the network didn't even showbup on the list..my eve and touch both find it fine though...(eve two bars touch 3-4) suggestions? Is it just mine that has bad reception? the evo is known for bad signal strength, And even it can pick it up.

My '07 MBP 15 constantly dropped the wifi signal in our house, I assumed it was a problem with the router until I realised that the other half's Mac Book had no such problems. The logic board on my MBP fried itself last week (3 years in, £924 quoted for new board, not impressed, especially after it cost me £200 earlier in the year for a new hard drive). This made me buy a new MBP 13. This new machine has shown no wifi problems.

Yeah, I'm a little upset... a 2500 dollar( bought it before they lowered prices...) laptop that can't connect to WiFi where a 300 dollar ipod can...
