Wifi Security at a College Dorm, Advice

Just moved into a college dorm and it's all wireless, any advice as to how to make secure transactions? My firewall is enabled, what other precautions should I take?

Leopard's firewalls are pretty strong, you should be fine. In the case of laptop theft, turn on Private Browsing under Safari, which prevents private data from being stored in the cache, etc.
