Hi,
I have the 15" 2018 i9 MacBook Pro running 10.14.5 (18F203). I have a gigabit internet connection that clocks in around ~700/300 Mbps on a fresh boot, but I have noticed that after a bit of uptime the same connection goes down to around ~50/40 Mbps. All other devices on the network show the proper speed at all times. The ping time remains consistent around 4 ms. I have confirmed that there are no other apps taking the bandwidth or the anti-virus/malware interfering when I run the speed test. Restarting the MacBook resets the internet connection.
I have tried turning the wifi on/off and a few other random troubleshooting steps. Still no luck getting back to the expected speeds after a bit.
Any ideas on what might be going on here? Restarting is quick enough, but a bit annoying.
Thanks!
